About Me

I'm a mathematics graduate student specializing in algorithms, discrete mathematics, and optimization. Currently pursuing a Master's degree at Technische Universität Berlin, I focus on mathematical modeling, algorithm design, and computational problem-solving.

My research interests lie at the intersection of theoretical mathematics and practical applications, particularly in optimization, scheduling algorithms, and combinatorial problems. I contribute to open-source projects and collaborate with research institutions to advance computational mathematics.

arXiv preprint, 2025

A comprehensive benchmarking library for optimization algorithms, creating a "decathlon" for optimization methods with realistic benchmarks on particularly hard combinatorial problems. The project involves systematic analysis and comparison of modern optimization methods across a broad collection of challenging problems, in collaboration with IBM and international research partners.

Bachelor Thesis: Competitive Algorithms for Non-Clairvoyant Scheduling with Lossy Preemption

Maximilian Schicker

Technische Universität Berlin, 2023

Analysis and development of competitive algorithms for scheduling problems where job durations are unknown and preemption incurs cost. Thesis completed under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Max Klimm. Achieved grade 1.0.
